James worked for The Call & Post Newspaper and covered almost everything but Education at one time. Making a lot of friends over the years, he decided to become a freelance writer and start his own blog.

Working as a Photo Journalist his pictures, as well as stories, grace the front page many days during his time at the Post. Hanging on his wall are awards won from The National Newspaper Publishers Association Foundation for his work.
