On Saturday, the stylish rock & roll maestro Richard Wayne Penniman (Little Richard) died at the age of 87. He was around in the earlier years of Rock & Roll with a well know Tutti-Frutti. I have read that Penniman's work started in the mid-1950s, his style was very colorful, but boy could he play that piano. Little Richard suffered a heart attack in 2013 and was reported that he took baby aspirin, and doctors told him that help saved his life. He credited his survival to a higher power, saying, "Jesus had something for me. He brought me through."
